Fresh from a trip to down to Corpus I could not be happier to fill y’all in on what’s going on over at Lamar Park. I went down for the day with my family, and my mom and I walked around The Park all afternoon visiting with everyone – everything looked wonderful. I figured I would share with all of you a few of my favorite things from the visit (although there truly is so much more to see) – I hope you all can make it over there soon to pick out a few of your own.
The jewelry at Market is to die for. I am absolutely obsessed with these rings by Kenneth Jay Lane are amazing and go with everything. I’ve been wearing a version of this floral from last year for awhile now and never cease to get compliments. They’re just so pretty!

Pilar has fantastic jewelry as well – don’t forget about the Texas Jewelry Show tomorrow! – But I have to say, one of my two favorite things in the store are these little chanchitos. I keep mine in my purse and he brings me good luck (or so I like to tell myself). So cute and teensy tinsy they are the perfect gift for anyone and everyone.  My other favorite is the fantastic Mexican dresses and blouses that Terry gets for the store – I am always on the lookout for new colors and summer staples they are indeed. The blouses look so cute with jeans and the dresses are the perfect go-to for any occasion.

Given the opportunity, I will choose to sit outside almost always. That being said, Small Planet’s newly redone patio is right up my alley. The tables and chairs are so inviting with big bright umbrellas to shade you from the Corpus heat – who wouldn’t want to sit there all afternoon? Just grab yourself an iced tea and some chicken salad and call it a day.

Belly & Baby and Hopscotch officially have the cutest baby clothes on the planet. There’s a new baby girl in my family and I have no doubt I will be calling Stephanie and Sarah to fill me in on all the latest baby trends. Personally I fell for the floral onesies and the socks that look like shoes (could they be any cuter?), but seriously I loved everything.

I don’t think I could ever go in to Goosefeathers and come out empty handed. This past trip I went in and came out with a strapless black maxi dress that I have already worn umpteen times because it goes with everything! I am in l-o-v-e with this pink tunic.  The spring and summer lines in the store are amazing – something for everyone without a doubt. From cute sandals to dresses to fabulous flowy tops, Tiffany and her crew nailed it this season.

It was so wonderful to see everyone over at Lamar Park, I couldn’t have asked for a better trip. You should definitely head over there and check it out – find your own list of favorites to share! Happy weekend!

It wouldn’t be Spring without a few sales and events and boy, oh boy does Lamar Park have some great ones going on! Who says April showers? I say April SALES (and events too)! As the flowers bloom and temperatures rise the merchants at Lamar park are giving customers even more reason to smile. Check out these goings on around The Park…

Francesca's Pick of the Week!

The ladies and gents over at Julian Gold have their hands full with a plethora of events through May. I don’t know how they do it! Going on right now through April 14 is the ALGO Swiss Designer Sportswear Trunk Show; head on over to the store to see what they have going on!  Coming up later this week are the Damianou and Daymor Eveningwear Trunk Show from April 15th – 17th, and The Sondra Roberts Handbag Trunk Show April 16th.  Looking ahead a bit (mark your calendars!) is the Claudia Labao Jewelry Trunk Show, April 20th – 21st.  And last, but certainly not least, in May there is the Laurel Bridge Sportswear Trunk Show, May 6th – 7th, the Lourdes Chavez Designer Trunk Show, May 11th – 12th, the St. John Designer Trunk Show, May 18th- 19th, and finally a Weill Designer Trunk Show, May 24th – 25th.  Now if that’s not an event calendar, I’m not sure what is!  But, don’t worry, I’ll be sure to remind you all again when the time comes.

Julian Gold’s not the only store with a ton going on, Four Chicks in the Park has some very busy chicks putting on fantastic events through April.  The Jon Hart Graduation Sale is going on now through April 30…Take it from me, there is no better graduation gift than a Jon Hart gift!  On April 30 be sure to visit the Jon Hart Trunk Show from 1:00 – 5:30pm for free monograming!  What a deal!  And definitely take advantage of the Ears to You! special going on now: Purchase any Brighton necklace and bracelet and choose any pair of Brighton earrings free*!
